Volunteer application overview
We have changed our volunteer application and onboarding process, so please carefully read all the information below.
Most volunteer applications will be processed on a semester calendar (Fall, Spring, Summer). Volunteers will be on-boarded in cohorts by semester. If you are a high need clinical volunteer (MD, DO, DPM, LCSW, LPC, Psychologist, DDS, DMD) your application will be processed within 2-3 weeks of receipt, depending on your specialty you may be on-boarded as soon as possible or added to an upcoming cohort.
For a full list of volunteer opportunities & requirements by role, click here.
If you are volunteering through one of San Jose Clinic’s institutional or academic affiliations, you should have received a separate application link through your program’s administrator or preceptor. Contact them in order to receive the unique application link or send an email to volunteerapp@sanjoseclinic.org for further instructions. For a full list of San Jose’s affiliations click Partners and Affiliates.
If you are not sure which “volunteer type” you are, please email volunteerapp@sanjoseclinic.org.
