Make a Difference. Give the Gift of Health.
San José Clinic is privately supported and does not seek or rely on government funds or third-party reimbursements, such as Medicaid or Medicare. It is only through generous gifts from individuals, foundations, corporations and organizations that San José Clinic is able to provide valuable healthcare services to uninsured individuals and families in the Greater Houston area. When you give the gift of health, you restore more than a single person. You begin to heal families. You begin to heal the community.
The Clinic is committed to continuing its focus on in-kind support as a significant element of the organizational budget, developing extensive relationships with individuals, organizations, and corporations through which the Clinic successfully leverages in-kind support. Support includes volunteers, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, medical supplies, office supplies and office furniture. Monetary and in-kind gifts for medical, dental, office and building facility departments come from organizations like the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, United Way of Greater Houston, Charity Guild of Catholic Women, among others. With generous assistance from such dedicated supporters and many others, San José Clinic is in a position to continue providing care to uninsured individuals and families as long as the need exists.
