San José Clinic will host the 3rd Art with Heart fundraising event on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at One Allen Center. Art with Heart is an art auction highlighting local, professional and student artists. The event will feature artists Susu Meyer, Kay Sarver and Arthur Turner. Guests will browse paintings to the sounds of live jazz music by The Harry Sheppard Jazz Group while enjoying wine and hors d'oeuvres. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.

The 3rd Art with Heart event is postponed until April 25, 2009 due to the after-effects of Hurricane Ike. This decision was a difficult one, but San José Clinic board of directors and event committee felt it was appropriate and necessary as many of our donors, artists, staff and volunteers are experiencing difficulties at this time. We felt the originally scheduled date of October 25th might be too soon after Hurricane Ike to proceed with such an important event for San José Clinic.

This annual event raises funds to support San José Clinic's mission of providing quality medical and dental care and education for greater Houston’s uninsured individuals and families.
